The Inspiration
What began with my grandma reading Amelia Bedelia aloud to me soon blossomed into a lifelong love of books. That passion followed me into college, where majoring in English meant countless late nights fueled by coffee and chapter after chapter of reading. Before long, my favorite place to unwind became a cozy corner with a warm latte, a captivating book, and my two cats curled up beside me.
The Goal
Black Cat Coffee & Books was created from the belief that books are invitations to think differently, ask questions, and connect with experiences beyond our own. I hope to create a space where people can slow down and step away from the noise of everyday life. Customers will leave feeling inspired by the stories and conversations they encounter, while enjoying a sweet treat and warm cup of coffee to fuel their thoughts.
The End Result
Born from a love of literature, community, and ungodly amounts of caffeine, our mobile bookstore and coffee trailer was created to bring cozy reading experiences wherever they’re needed.
